Midwest Energy Emissions ($MEEC) @ Air Quality Conference

Midwest Energy Emissions Corp. (OTCBB: CHYUD) presented last week at the Energy & Environment Research Center's Air Quality VII Conference in Arlington, VA. Midwest Energy Emissions Corp. develops and delivers patented, cost effective mercury capture systems and technologies to power plants and other coal-burning units in the United States and Canada.

At the conference, Midwest Energy Emissions, industry leaders, and the world's top mercury and air quality scientists gathered to:

Discuss upcoming mercury regulations,
Share their patented mercury capture technology and products, and
Liaise with industry experts and large utilities from across the United States and the world.

The Energy & Environment Research Center (EERC) is one of the world's leading mercury emissions research organizations, and is an established strategic research partner of Midwest Energy Emission Corp.

Highlights for Midwest Energy at EERC included:

Mr. John Pavlish, is Midwest Energy Emission Corp.'s Executive Technical Consultant and he is also a Senior Research Advisor at the EERC. Pavlish presented a pre-conference workshop on mercury measurement and control, several technical sessions, and he participated in a Mercury Control poster session. Marc Sylvester, Midwest Energy's VP Sales also participated in the Mercury Control session, which was titled, "Mercury Control Field Test Results with the SEA(tm) Technology at a Full-Scale Subbituminous-Fired Power Plant."

CEO John Norris was a member of the conference's first day opening forum - "New Energy Technologies: Development and Implementation Challenges".
